This was an easy assignment for me as I seem to take lots of photos focused on the big brown eyes of my daughters. I even found a couple with a Valentine's Day Theme! ;-)

Sunday Snapshot: Mommy and B Day at the CNY Parade

Yesterday we had a special "Just Mommy and B" day. Although the whole family had planned on going to the DC Chinatown CNY parade, DH needed to work. I was disappointed, but also glad to get a special day with my big girl.

We stopped in at the community center where they were having arts and crafts, games and performances. B had her picture taken with the "Emperor."

Then we waited outside for the parade to begin. B wore her rabbit mask - it's The Year of the Rabbit you know!

Finally! After waiting "so so long!" here comes the dragon!

Joy of Love: Day 3 Then and Now

Yes, I'm trying to play catch up with The Joy of Love photo challenge so Day 3 it is! The theme is Then and Now. When I think of dramatic changes, I think of my older daughter. She has grown and changed so much over the years. I see beauty in her face at every stage.

Reminds me of the Bruno Mars song. I sing the chorus to B all the time:
