I love this photo I took of my beautiful daughters. Since so much of their beautiful black hair is featured in the photo, it translated well to black and white and was a perfect candidate for a black and white photo challenge. My daughters are close (best friends most of the time) and I hope this photo captures this relationship.

Flower girls
Before our mini-beach trip, I took some pics with my flower girls (right as we were packing the car). So glad I did as we don't normally buy flowers (these were from the ballet recital) and I love having pics of my sweet flower girls.

Black and White Wednesday: My Little Dancer
B performed with her dance troupe at an Asian street festival this past weekend. Here's a terrific pic of her dancing right in front of the Capitol building.
I played around in photoshop to remove all color except for B and her lantern.
But I think I like this version even better.
Visit Lisa's blog for more Black and White Wednesday fun!

Sunday Snapshot: First Beach Trip
We took the girls for their first visit to the beach today. We found a little beach off the bay where the kids could play in the sand and look for fossils. Double fun!
Have buckets - and ready to collect shells, shark teeth and other cool things!
Maybe just a bit excited?
Ok, VERY excited!
Very Very excited!
I love this sweet smile. I brightened the skies a bit (photoshop) to match that bright smile. :)
Little toes in the sand. Such cuteness.
Lots of playtime.
Berries on the beach just taste better, you know!
And of course, sandcastles.
Little architect!
Yes, I think we'll be back...

Easter 2011
The Easter Bunny was very generous this year. We must have two VERY good girls!
B enjoyed the scavenger egg hunt! She read and figured out all the clues on her own!
We had face painting and bunny ears.
Times two...
Then we headed to meet the Easter Bunny.
Ride the carousel.
And the Easter Bunny train!
